Security and privacy

Call data is personal. We treat it that way.

Recordings and transcripts can hold names, addresses, health details and payment information. RingIris includes the controls you need to limit who sees what and to keep sensitive details out of places they don't belong.

Built-in controls

Access control

Role-based permissions, custom roles, two-factor authentication and single sign-on (SAML) for larger teams.

Protecting recordings

Encrypted recording options, recording turned off per number, and notices played to callers where required.

Redaction

Options to detect and redact payment card numbers, Social Security numbers and other sensitive details in transcripts.

Limited notifications

Choose which fields appear in email and text alerts so sensitive details don't land in inboxes.

Retention and recovery

Control how long data is kept, with version history and the ability to restore deleted settings.

Privacy regulations

Configuration that supports HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA and PCI-related requirements. Ask us for documentation during your demo.

A note on compliance

No software makes a business compliant on its own. Compliance comes from how a tool is configured and how your team uses it. We'll help you set RingIris up sensibly for your industry and explain what each setting does, but you should confirm your obligations with your own legal or compliance advisor.

Healthcare organizations: ask us about a business associate agreement before sending any protected health information through the platform. Our HIPAA call tracking checklist covers the questions to work through.
